Circle Squeeze

The players sit in a circle except one who leaves the room, another is chosen to start the squeeze while they are gone. The player returns and the starter squeezes the hand of the person next to them who then passes the squeeze along. Ladders

The players all sit in pairs facing each other with their legs stretched out and feet touching, this makes the ladder’s rungs along the floor. Chairs are placed at the ends of each row and a story theme is chosen e.g. trip to the zoo. The pairs are given names relative to the story (e.g. zoo keeper or animal name) and the leader then tells a story emphasising the names of the pairs when they appear. Each time a name is called the pair must get up and run down the ladder (carefully stepping between the legs), round the chair, up the outside round the other chair and back down the ladder to their place.
